Artist Statement:

At school old people came in to teach us about art.
Then I started to watch the elders weaving and painting
Poles that gave me ideas. I started poster painting at Tiwi Design in the 80’s and then I started to paint. Painting is
like a person to me – like a friend. The more I work on the
painting the closer I feel to it.
