Charmaine Kulitja

Charmaine Kulitja is the daughter of renowned artist and community leader Rene Kulitja and is a talented artist in her own right. She is also grand-daughter of well-known wood carvers, Topsy Tjulyata and Walter Pukutiwara.

Charmaine grew up in Mutijulu community and Kaltukatjara (Docker River), her father’s country. All of her family have a long history of involvement in traditional land management, tourism and the arts in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
