Fiona Corbett

Fiona Corbett is an Alywarra elder from Canteen Creek. Her career as an artist started in Utopia, working on batik silk printing along major artists such as Emily Kngwarreye and Gloria Petyarre.

When she moved to Canteen Creek with her husband, she started painting after Barkly Regional Arts organised workshop in 2009 then she become one of the founding member of the local arts centre Canteen Creek Artists since 2012

Now, she is painting mostly bloodwood flowers and bush oranges and shares her time between the art centre and the school where she teaches young kids about Bush life.
