Rowena Morgan

Rowena Morgan

Rowena is a Halls Creek girl and through her grandmother is regarded as a custodian of the Landsdown Ranges country.

Rowena began painting in 1994. She uses Indigenous symbols and animals to illustrate her connection to them. She was a member of the Halls Creek art centre, and exhibited with them. She is now living in Broome and enjoys translating her symbols for the landscape into block prints and textile designs.
