Be Part of the 2022 Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair!

Art Centre Registrations are NOW OPEN

We thank you all for your patience in waiting for the announcement of this year’s registration process, and are thrilled to confirm that after consultation with our Art Centre members and Board, DAAF will return as a hybrid event in 2022!

What does this mean? This August 4-7, the Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair will run in both physical and online formats!

The physical Fair we know and love will return as an in-person event on Larrakia Country at the Darwin Convention Centre, and the new online Fair that brought so much success the past two years will run at the same time.

This means there are a few extra details to consider in the registration form, and several options for how you as an Art Centre can participate.

We now invite your Art Centre to register to participate.

Follow the link below for all the details and to fill in your online registration form. As always, certain booths fill up fast – so be sure to get in quick!

Registrations strictly close on 6 May 2022

Eligibility, Terms and Conditions

Owned by a membership of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Centres from across Australia, DAAFF’s vision is to provide vibrant and exciting platforms for First Nations art, design and culture with a reputation for innovation, diversity and cultural integrity.

DAAF is our major annual event, and provides a professional and safe space for Arts Workers, artists, and staff from community owned Art Centres, to exhibit and retail artwork, network with industry stakeholders, and gain invaluable experience and professional development outcomes.

To be eligible to participate in the Fair, your organisation must be an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander owned and operated organisation which adopts the ‘Art Centre’ business model.

There are also some important terms and conditions that you need to be aware of before you complete the registration process.

If you are unsure about your eligibility, please don’t hesitate to contact our DAAF Foundation office on 08 8981 0576 or
