Situated at Uluru in the heart of the Red Centre, Walkatjara Art is the Aboriginal owned, not-for-profit art centre belonging to Mutitjulu community.

Well known for its vibrant desert colours, Walkatjara artwork is filled with the timeless Tjukurpa stories of Uluru as well as traditional aspects of desert life, helping keep Anangu culture and knowledge strong into the future.

Shipping Policy

Please note that shipping is not included in the price of the artwork. Upon confirmation of your order, we will be in touch to arrange shipping. Additional costs for shipping will be processed via credit card payment over the phone or invoice. Paintings are posted once payment has been confirmed. All artworks are posted unstretched and carefully rolled and bubble-wrapped in a tube, in order to best protect the artwork for shipping purposes. All artworks are posted using Australia Post or TNT with insurance and tracking, unless other delivery arrangements are made with the art centre. You will receive a tracking number from the art centre once the item has been posted. Every effort is made to dispatch artworks as quickly as possible, but specific delivery times cannot be guaranteed. Please keep in mind that you are purchasing something from a remote community and that delivery times have been affected by Covid-19.  

Refund Policy

It is important to us that you are happy with your purchase! If not, please notify us within 7 days of receiving the artwork, and we will refund you for the value of the artwork. You only need to pay the cost of returning it to Walkatjara. The artwork must be returned in its original condition with all of its accompanying documentation for the guarantee to apply. Your refund will be issued upon receiving the artwork.

Cancellation / Return / Exchange Policy

  • Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair Foundation takes no responsibility for the cancellation, return or exchange of any purchases made at the 2020 online Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair. All cancellations, returns or exchange requests must be directed to the Art Centre where the purchase was made.
